House by the Pond — Khopoli, Maharashtra

Set across a picturesque 4-acre site with a man-made pond and a natural stream running along its edge, House by the Pond is a visionary eco-conscious development designed for nature-inspired hospitality. The client’s brief was clear — to create eco-friendly cottages that could be rented out as serene getaways for nature lovers, artists, and slow travelers.

This ongoing project embodies the core principles of sustainable architecture and vernacular design, staying true to the landscape and environment. The design carefully considers the contours of the site, preserving existing flora and integrating water features into the experience.

Once complete, each cottage will reflect handcrafted elegance through the use of traditional building techniques and local materials.
